Jan Crawford

Jan is a professional jazz/blues/R&B singer with over 20 years experience performing for heads of state, charitable events, large festivals, private parties, weddings, etc.. Born in Washington, DC, Jan moved to New York and joined the Motor City Band, who opened for James Brown in Pokipsee, NY in the 1980s. Jan also performed opposite Aretha Franklin at the Leukeimia Ball in Washington, DC 1996 at the Washington Hilton Hotel. In addition to singing, Jan Crawford performed 'LIVE" on stage at the Daytona Museum of Arts & Sciences, the part of Billie Holiday in the critically acclaimed play "Lady Day at Emmerson's Bar & Grill' with the legendary Doug Carn on piano in January 2008. Jan has recorded with Sugar Minot, The First Coast Jazz Orchestra,MOFRO and others. Jan currently resides in Florida with a large following and is singing to packed houses with her sassy, unique renditions of america's greatest standards in jazz, blues, mowton, classic and current R&B.
